Burglary Near You - Lennon Drive

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Tuesday 18th November 2025, this occurred during the darker evenings roughly around 5:00pm and 5:15pm the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

VICTIM IS AT HIS HOME ADDRESS. SUSPECTS UNKNOWN ENTER PROPERTY BY REAR DOOR, BREAKING THE LOCK BARREL ALLOWING THEM ENRTY. ONCE INSIDE, SUSPECTS REMOVE £25 IN CASH BEFORE GOING UPSTAIRS AND REALISING VICTIM IS PRESENT IN THE ADDRESS. THIS PROMPTS SUSPECTS TO EXIT THE PROPERTY VIA THE SAME POINT OF ENTRY. THREE SUSPECTS ARE SEEN, ALL IN BALACLAVAS AND DARK CLOTHING AND MAKE OFF ON FOOT.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it for activity on Tuesday 18th November 4.45pm-530pm evening  check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
